How did Bayside of Plumas Lake start?

We started as several individual small group Bible studies. These small groups are made up of Christians that attend various churches in Yuba-Sutter as well as Sacramento & Placer counties. All of the small groups shared a desire to see a church here in Plumas Lake.

In April of 2006, these small groups learned about each other and joined together for several common goals. These include spiritual growth, fellowship, and the establishment of a church in our community.

On May 3rd 2006, the various small group Bible studies gathered at a home in Plumas Lake for a meeting with the Outreach Pastor of Bayside Church, Jim Holst. Jim shared about Bayside and their church planting process.

On September 19th, 2006, we met with Bayside again. They offered to sponsor our group and we teamed with them.
